The big windows make the dining room bright and cosy. This comprises also a very elegant sitting area with satellite TV, hi.fi and fireplace. Next to the dining room lies a beautiful studio and the suggestive cellar of the house. From the studio, as well as from the garden, one can access a beautiful dining room with a wide table which can host all the guests of the house as well as another large sitting room with fireplace. The second floor is made up of a cosy sitting room with fireplace, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower. A staircase leads up to the suite for two which has a big wardrobe and a wonderful bathtub, a wide TV screen and a stereo. A charming annex hosts a spacious double bedroom with shower. A sauna and a laundry room are also available for the guests. The swimming pool is equipped with changing room and bathroom with shower. The owners took care of every detail and furnished the house with fine antique pieces. On request professional cook and maiden service. The position of the villa allows you to reach the town centre of Cortona in about 45 minutes/1 h on foot. Nestled in the heart of a small green valley, the villa is located a few kilometres from the beautiful town of Cortona, with the avenue of cherry trees leading to the house and those next to the pool. This large stone house has been completely restored with great taste. Every detail in the decoration has been thought to offer charm and modern comfort. 

On the ground floor, large French windows open onto the front of the house, from which you can admire the landscape, while enjoying a good meal on the terrace or in the garden, both of which are designed for this purpose. Three bedrooms are located on the first floor, while the fourth is located in a small independent annex in the extension of the house. 

The swimming pool is slightly higher than the house. It is heated by a solar panel system and has changing rooms with a shower. The night lighting makes it a magical place at nightfall. 

From Villa Alma you can reach Cortona on foot. The half-hour walk starts with a path made in Etruscan times and then crosses the public gardens to reach the centre of the ancient medieval town.
