Villa Leccio is a beautiful stone farmhouse only 2 km away from Cortona belonging to a spectacular 10.000 square metre hilly property. Tucked in a huge olive grove, chestnut and holm oak wood, the villa offers its guests a breathtaking view over the Valdichiana and the Cortona hills and is the ideal location for those who wish to enjoy total privacy. The ground floor is accessed through the cosy sitting room: here you can have a rest watching TV or reading a good book. Next to the sitting room there is the fully equipped kitchen with microwave, percolator for American coffee and dishwasher. Finally the dining room which has direct access to the ample garden. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom with shower. The master bedroom, large and bright, has its own private bathroom with whirlpool. On request two added beds are at guests's disposal. The house also has satellite TV and washing machine. The house has been carefully restored and has been furnished with antique dealing furniture that make this villa a beautiful and comfortable location where elegance and modern comforts have been well mixed. In the large garden surrounding the house at full disposal of the guests there are a wood-burning oven and outdoor furniture: here you can enjoy delicious breakfasts and dinners while admiring the view of the valley. A few metres from the house lies the wonderful pool, set in panoramic position and surrounded by stone pavement and grass. Adjacent to the swimming pool is a bright dependance with dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Villa Leccio is the perfect starting point for long walks or rides in the quiet mountain of Cortona (Monte Sant'Egidio). By car one can easily reach the major cities of Tuscany and Umbria such as Siena, Arezzo, Perugia and Florence. The surrounding area offers several facilities for free time such as tennis courts and golf course. The access to the property is via an unpaved and partially steep road not suitable for sports or big cars.
