After pushing open an imposing wrought-iron gate, the visitor steps into the little paradise that is Poggio ai Santi. The decorative talents of Francesca, and the practical skills of Fulvio, have given their house and the guest appartments a sense of refinement and attention to detail. Everything shows great care, warmth and good taste. There is also a splendid patio, from which one can admire the island of Elba while having breakfast. Francesca is a gifted cook, and will be delighted to prepare local dishes on request. A barbecue and a large kitchen garden are entirely at your disposal. Do not leave without having tried Fulvio's own culinary specialty: "la Bistecca al tramonta", a truly unforgettable experience. A warm, welcoming place, greatly enhanced by the friendliness of the owners.
