Here we are only 15 minutes from the sea and the first fine beaches you come to as you drive down the Tuscan coast. We are also only a stone’s throw from the famous Bolgheri vineyards. On a cultural note, there are a number of small, picturesque medieval villages to visit further inland, while the beautiful, ancient towns of Volterra and San Gimignano are within easy reach.
Villa Celeste is a former farmhouse, located on an estate that stretches over several hundred hectares, scattered over hills and valleys. There are nine former farmhouses available for rent on the estate, along with converted barns and the main house, all of which have been recently restored and renovated. The owners have sought to provide the best in quality accommodation that offers complete privacy: each house has its own swimming-pool and private garden, with a 360° view over the countryside and its peaceful surroundings.
Villa Celeste is a very large property, situated 7 km from the middle of the estate, along 4 km of paved road and 3 km of dirt track. Beautifully positioned half-way up a hill, the villa offers a magnificent view over this stunning landscape.
The house is divided into two apartments but which can be opened up to provide accommodation for a total of 20 people. On the ground floor, with its impressive vaulted ceilings, there is a large kitchen (with direct access onto the terrace), which also features a huge worktop, a dining room, a drawing room and four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. (Two of the bedrooms are also provided with an extra bed).
The apartment located on the first floor, accessible by an inside staircase, is slightly smaller in surface area than the ground floor apartment. Each appartment has its own separate entrance, with outside steps leading up to the entrance of the first floor appartment and a large terrace that is complete with outdoor furniture.
Renting the apartments together means of course that guests have the exclusive use of the swimming pool; renting the apartments separately, although guaranteeing your privacy inside the apartment, implies that the pool has to be shared.
The spacious indoor areas make the villa particularly suitable for several families who want to spend their holidays together. The space inside is equally matched by the space outside: the table on the terrace can sit up to 22 people comfortably, while there is a glorious open space around the barbecue area and the huge swimming pool.
