Here we are only 15 minutes from the sea and the first white-sandy beaches you come to as you drive down the Tuscan coast. We are also only a stone’s throw from the famous Bolgheri vineyards. On a cultural note, there are plenty of picturesque medieval villages to visit further inland, while the beautiful, ancient towns of Volterra and San Gimignano are just a little further away.
Villa Gialla is one of nine holiday villas for rent, dotted over an estate that extends over several hundred hectares, scattered over hills and valleys. All the villas have been recently restored or renovated and range from former farmhouses, converted barns and the main house. The owners have sought to provide each villa with the maximum in quality and privacy: each has its own private swimming pool and garden with a 360° view of the surrounding countryside, perfect in which to enjoy all the peace and quiet this stunning area has to offer.
The villa is a beautiful, typically stone-built country house that provides a high standard of comfort and all the modern amenities: a contemporary-style, fully-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing-machine, microwave oven, traditional oven etc.), air conditioning, mosquito nets on all the windows, satellite TV, DVD and stereo machines, modern bathrooms and so on.
All the rooms on the ground floor open out onto the garden or onto the superb covered terrace that overlooks the swimming pool. Here, in addition to the kitchen, there are two drawing rooms, linked by an impressive archway, a large dining room and a bedroom with a bathroom. All the other bedrooms are situated on the first floor.
The architecture and design of the house has taken full advantage of the natural light, with large windows added to provide a generous feeling of space. The rooms have been decorated in good taste with quality materials used throughout, giving the house a very special touch.
The large table on the terrace makes it an ideal place for memorable meals and moments spent among family and friends. The swimming pool can also be heated, but only on request.
